Ultracapacitor

An ultracapacitor is a capacitor designed for high currents and capacitance. Thanks to robust connections, it can withstand currents of up to 2200A, which is especially important for sports cars and racing cars. The constant acceleration and recuperation would place a heavy load on the lithium ion cells. With 1,000,000 cycles and a service life of 10 years, the ultracaps are exactly made for this purpose. The high shock and vibration resistance make the supercaps common companions in harsh environments such as construction or agriculture. Ultracapacitors are available as round cells, pouches and modules.
